Finding comfort within discomfort, South African artist FRNGE aims to spread the word of the 𝔡𝔦𝔰𝔱𝔬𝔯𝔱𝔦𝔬𝔫 through his music. With a sound that is as ambient as it is noisy, FRNGE consolidates clashing, danceable sounds into a modern form of electronica; best illustrated on his latest EP, DISTORTED SONGS FOR DISTORTED PEOPLE. Praised by outlets of the likes of Resident Advisor, Bubblegum Club, Texx & the City, FRNGE’s unique sound has earned him a monthly residency on community radio station, The Other Radio, and latest releases have received airplay on Worldwide FM and 5fm.
More recently, his remixes were placed in Mugler’s Fall Winter 2021 Film and the artist was awarded a handful of podium finishes from Baauer’s infamous ‘Bop Battles,’ with his entries being commended by guest judges, Rebecca Black, Lunice and Alice Longyu Gao.
